Michigan spring bursts into our lives and onto our calendars late and
self-conscious, apologetic and swift to make amends. With snow even in April and
snow packs hiding in the shadows, Spring arrives with high 60s and low 40s
clothed in a crisp, sunny joy. Spring rains water the earth and drive away the
hoar-frost of a long winter. Flowers crown the earth and birds and animals
return with homage. All a picture of new life after a long dark winter,
reminding yet again there is resurrection Sunday after a cold and barren Good
Friday.
